Itinerary

Below is the detailed itinerary.
The round trip is about 9,000 kilometres, with a multi-day rest in Bergen and Tromso.  Interesting how we can cover 931 kms in 8.5 hours on day 1, but only 557 kms in 9 hours between Bodo and Tromso.  Clearly the average speed on the Norwegian coast is much slower than on the unrestricted German autohahns.
(all of the calculations and estimates were created using GoogleMaps)

We had considering returning via Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and CZ. The overall distance would have been little changed, but in the end, we stuck to the purer Alps to Arctic mission.
